Permalink Reply by Victoria Moon on June 25, 2011 at 9:57am The foundation of a healthy body is alkalinity. Disease can only thrive in an acidic environment; this is why choosing our water with awareness is so important, especially if we have serious healing to do. Living water is alkaline and can include well water or "hard" water ("hard" because the water contains minerals), "new" water from fruits and vegetables (this water is "new" in that the water was manufactured by the plant in just a matter of months), and water that has been electrolyte enhanced or filtered using special methods. I love the taste of fresh well water! There's nothing like it. New water is also going go be your best bet, and not just for water, but for micronutrients. Another thing to be aware of is that many of the plastics used in bottling water are toxic and have been linked to disease. Look for bottles that say BPA free. Typically, attention has been paid to the quality of these bottled waters as well. I hope this helps. Do the best you can, and in the end the goal is hydration. It is better to do what you can then to avoid drinking water from an unknown source because you are overly concerned about it's quality.
Also, refrigerator filters or the brita filters yield water that is similar to distilled if I am not mistaken. They are o.k. if it's all you have access to, but it is not going to alkalize your body very effectively because it has been stripped of it's minerals and electrolytes.
"Recognizing, accepting, and expressing our authentic interior reality lies at the heart of honesty; only when we are honest with ourselves can we speak or act honestly with anyone else. In the sense of integrity, honesty entails acting in line with higher laws despite negative impulses to the contrary.
Live according to your highest light and more light will be given."
