Again
Til next time my friend
your performance has come to an end
but you are not gone
we are still here humming your song
Remembering your light
in the glimmer of a familiar stranger's eyes
or by the brightness of a new born baby's smile
stones are made precious
when they are hard to find
there is time for love
there is time for pain
there is time to know
you are not alone...
we are all on this journey back home
Living bound until we are found
by the silence behind the sound
in the field beyond time
between the sunshine and the rain,
once upon the dawning of a brand new day
this is the game that we play
til next time my friend
we will meet again...
again.. . . again

Renjith Iya (aka Andrew Barnett) was a well-known musician in the Asheville scene. I always loved to see him play with Shimshai when he would come to town. Renjith was such a beautiful spirit and will be missed by many. There is a public memorial service to honor his life being held at the Warren Wilson College Chapel & Fellowship Hall on this Friday, October 28th at 7pm.
Below is a performance of Shimshai accompanied by Renjith Iya and Samata of Sangita Devi and Kristin Luna Ray. Injoy!

"Recognizing, accepting, and expressing our authentic interior reality lies at the heart of honesty; only when we are honest with ourselves can we speak or act honestly with anyone else. In the sense of integrity, honesty entails acting in line with higher laws despite negative impulses to the contrary.
Live according to your highest light and more light will be given."
