A Love Poem To Myself
Intellect is empty without a soul
What's a soul without a body to hold?
What of a body that has no mind?
It's soul is blackened, it's actions unkind
How looks a soul without a brain?
It's motives pure? It's being unstained?
How to express the love it knows
without a thought to make words flow?
Without a body there's no physicality.
No pain. No pleasure. No reality.
That is why you need all three.

Thank you! I occurs to me you really haven't seen anything else I've done but this and the bawdy Edwardian limrick. I'll try to post more but I'm writing a novel so they're few and far between.

The working title is "Poacher Season". An environmental activist stumbles across 2 poachers in a state park and stops them. The encounter inspires her to greater and grander action. Think Turk 182 for environmentalists but but more like a vigilante than a graffiti artist.
