Permission to Heal

A Community For Empowered Healers

Eating healthy is not hard, especially when you set yourself up
for success with quick and easy options.  Add the following shakes and
juices to your diet and ensure you have the energy you need for your day while you stay centered and focused.

Shakes are also a great way to achieve natural weight loss.  Liquid food is easier on the digestive tract and the nutrition is more bioavailable. The result is energy and ease for you and your body...

You will literally experience your body thanking you!

Start your day off:
~Juice~
1 collard leaf
1 apple
2 orange
1/3 bulb of fennel
2 ribs of celery

...or for something more substantial try...

~Blend~
2-3 Oranges (remove peel and that's it)
1 Tbl coconut oil (or you could use flax oil)
2 tsp of vanilla powder or extract (I recommend the real deal: raw,
organic vanilla powder)
1/2 cup filtered water or young coconut water
pinch of Pink Himalayan sea salt

Mid-morning:
~Blend~
1 banana
2 hand fulls of spinach
1 cup filtered water (or young coconut water)

Afternoon: (You may need to make this in the morning or night before if you are a nine to fiver. Hey whatever works! The less time between making and drinking the better. And once you seal container, keep it shut and cold until it's time to drink it.)
~Juice~
1 collard leaf
1 apple
1 orange
1/3 bulb of fennel
2 ribs of celery

Evening Snack:
~Blend~
Handful of fresh berries
2 Tbl of flax oil
2 Tbl of yacon syrup (or really raw agave)
3 collard or kale leaves
1/2-1tsp cayenne
10 Brazil nuts or almonds (soaked for at least 4 hours)
pinch of Himalayan sea salt

Shake of the Gods: (Starting around mid morning, you could sip this smoothie throughout the day.)
~Blend~
the water and meat from 1 young coconut
1 banana or 1 cup durian if you really want to experience some godliness!
2 Tbl dulse flakes
1/3 bulb of fennel
1/2-1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp spirulina powder (or other excellent super algae like blue-green
algae or chlorella)
4 Tbls of raw, organic cacao (pure chocolate) powder
The word cacao actually means "food of the gods."

If you don't want to use banana due to it's relatively high sugar content, try pear, green apple or papaya instead.

And remember: CHEW YOUR JUICE AND DRINK YOUR FOOD! Mastering the art of mastication is the simplest thing you can do to aid in digestion. Saliva, besides for lubricating the food and esophageal tube, contains crucial enzymes that begin to break down the food, even liquid, getting it ready for maximum nutritional partitioning and absorption.

This is wonderful, Vicky! I have been looking for some new blender ideas and slowly am going to go raw again. I am looking forward to the Spinach and God shake especially. <3

I've had the mid-morning blend many times with breakfast.  It's just so darn easy!  I have cheated on occasion with a little cocoa powder and that was yummy too!  I think it will be a wonderful base for future exploration.

Quote of the Month:

"Recognizing, accepting, and expressing our authentic interior reality lies at the heart of honesty; only when we are honest with ourselves can we speak or act honestly with anyone else. In the sense of integrity, honesty entails acting in line with higher laws despite negative impulses to the contrary.

Live according to your highest light and more light will be given."
